Nico Tortorella, born July 30, 1988, in Wilmette, Illinois, U.S. is an American model turned actor.
Tortorella is a native of Wilmette, Illinois and graduate of New Trier High School. He is of Italian ancestry.
Tortorella started his career as a model appearing in numerous editorials and print ads for designers “James Perse”, “Joe’s Jeans”, and “Ed Hardy.” Following this early success, he has studied acting for what he hopes will be a future in film.
Tortorella made his acting debut in 2009, starring as supermodel Cole Shepherd in The CW’s short-lived drama “The Beautiful Life”. He also guest-starred in the first three episodes of the ABC Family drama “Make It or Break It” playing Razor, Emily’s co-worker at “The Pizza Shack”. He reprised this role in January 2010.
Tortorella has a small supporting role as Tobias in the 2010 Joel Schumacher movie “Twelve”, opposite Chace Crawford, Kiefer Sutherland and Emma Roberts.
